Brokers

Note for brokers re premium risk transfer:

We receive premium risk transfer under delegated authorities for the following:

• Event Assured
• Event Assured Liability
• Event Assured Travel

although at present we do not cascade this to other brokers.

We do not receive premium risk transfer for:

• Event Assured Professional
• Open market placings, including bonds.

In each of these we have Terms of Business agreements with the cover holder , broker or insurer so that once we pay the premium across, risk transfer has taken place, and it is our normal practice to advise you when this takes place.
