Event Assured Backs BVEP Manifesto

The Business Visits and Events partnership has published its manifesto for events The manifesto states the case for policies to support and promote events as vital to the econimic, cultural and social wellbeing of Britain.
The manifesto has been created by the government affairs group within the BVEP - our Managing Director Brian Kirsch chaired this group and represents Eventia on the BVEP Committee. The manifesto was prepared after extensive consultation with all of the major UK industry associations in membership of the Partnership. It was launched on 15th June and has been distributed to all incoming Ministers and MP's following the general election.
The publication of the ‘Manifesto for Business Visits & Events' comes ahead of the event at the House of Commons on 20th October, during National Meetings Week, where all new MP's are being invited to attend a reception and presentation on the sector.
